Recommended Fleets
As there is no branching, E1 can be approached in any way but ensure you have enough recon for outflanking:
3BB 3CV/4BB 2CV or 2BB 2CV - Resource intensive but fast
4-6DD/5DD 1CL - Higher levels reduces the potential damage dealt to your ships

About this Event[]
Ex1 Battle of Calabria |
---|
Italian force commanded by Vice Admiral Inigo Campioni includes 6 CAs:
These are the six CAs at the BOSS point. Other Italian ships involved are distributed in other points, hence the outflanking points. |
Ex2 Battle of Cape Bon |
---|
|
Ex3 Battle of Matapan |
---|
You will notice that the BOSS ships are BB Vittorio Veneto, CA Fiume, Pola, Zara, DD Vittorio Alfieri, Giosué Carducci. Zara, Pola and Fiume, these three ships were beaten by players in E1 already and now are going to be beaten again in E3. (Poor kids) By the way, the commander of these three CAs is the famous Admial Carlo Cattaneo. See Carlo Cattaneo for more information. |
Ex4 Allied Invasion of Sicily |
---|
OK here comes the E4:
As you can see, the BOSS's name is Pachina, which is not exactly the same as the place Pachino in history. Why? This is because Pachino is a masculine word in Italian. Since our Fortress is a loli, we should change her name into Pachina, which is feminine. Here is a map from Wikipedia: File:Sicilymap2.jpg. Where are SUB-A, SUB-B and others? SUB-A/B are actually Augusta-Syracuse region. Airfield is Catania. The Port on the fifth place is Syracuse as well because there is a port in it. The last Port is actually Gela, but changed her name into Gale in game. Pachino Fortress was not heavily armed historically (of course not in game). However in this event, this Fortress becomes the BOSS and the true fortresses become subordinates.
|
Conclusion |
---|
Different cases about how you did the final blow on BOSS:
Recently some Admirals are trying to bomb the Fortress on land with torpedoes like what Soviet Red Army did to German forces in Siege of Sevastopol. This bug is repaired and torpedoes are useless to the Fortress since the second day of the event. |
